‘Tea party’ movement takes protest to Washington

News agencies and police are reporting that attendance was anywhere from 50,000 to 2 million. After a few days we might get a more realistic count — anything over 50,000 is not yet official. Most of the people there and FOX News estimate that it was in the hundreds of thousands. Regardless of what the actual number is, it was the largest protest by conservatives ever.

“Hell hath no fury like a taxpayer ignored,” declared Andrew Moylan. The demonstrators roared their approval.
